So... what kind of job gives you no option when it comes to schedules?

basically, the restaurant "I'm hating it"... why? because even with schedules from other jobs this doesn't work for them...

This is the worst they've done to my schedules and they hide everything behind "other people need the hours more", "you have 2 jobs" and "you asked for the days off, when I'm giving you those days to work"

so, that manager, instead of telling me how it works... sent me to another manager... just because she was on a meeting with the region manager... seriously, I don't know how this works but I think a region manager should listen to the employees too...

anyway, according to them, the idea is that they have days ready for you to work but if you asked for those very specific days off... you don't get any, no matter if they have other workers around or they have not made the schedules yet...

you are getting the day off because you asked for it, and you get nothing because they simply cannot make you work other days... how does that work!? seriously!!!

as far as I know, no work does that to your schedules, I gave them the schedule of my main job 2 weeks ahead and they cannot acommodate days they just decide to wipe me off because I cannot work the days they want me... IS THAT DIFFERENT TO SWITCH ME WITH ANOTHER WORKER? IS THAT HARD?

any of you has found this problem in other jobs? I don't know, but I'm gonna use all these days off to look for a second part time job... sheesh...
