Gillian Unit SR02

Probably one of the most controversial units created so far. Diana, wife to Julius Gillian, could never have children, which was real sad for their family. It was then that Diana had a bold idea that perhaps SR02 would be the only one capable of handling the "Golden Arc" One of the most destructive weapons created by the Gillian labs. No artificial intelligence was given this as such handling required a unit that could recognize good and bad outside an order from superiors.

Cassandra (Cassie, Dhio, SR-02) was the answer. The unit was raised like a child, from the first steps as it was laid as a memory in a computer to a body that "grew", upgraded throughout the years. At the current time, Cassandra has an equivalent age of 17 years-old and was always aware she was not human, furry, or any other form of life. She didn't know a concept of life either, it was just data in her memory. Without the capability of comprehending this, it was an odd thing that she was still able to show emotions, even what seemed to be "love" for Diana and Julius "parents"

All these actions and rumors spread around, forcing religious groups and others to cry out their disgust on the ideals of the Gillian family, talking about their inhumane ways. These things added up as they were already seen wrong by a few groups that were against the creation of the very weapons that have protected their countries for so long.

During these events, Cassie progressed quickly and her emotions became more natural, to the point she even said she could cry, something not possible without the natural body parts that control our eyes. An old belief to some is that everyone is born without a soul and rather gain it over living our lives. Cassie even told her parents she had random images and events happening as she remained in hybernation mode, equivalent of sleep. This was not possible by the unit standards as such randomization can only be called "dreams" to living beings, moreso, the units don't have access to data during their sleep.

One particular dream she told them about, was one where a form of light told her "you are a unique beauty, your family has taught you well. Your spirit lives from now on". Julius found it hard to believe as more details of the dream seemed to talk about a spiritual, godly form, even describing elements found in some religious texts. No such data was ever implanted in her mind or found by the labs in the databank. It should be noted that the couple is happy their daughter shows so much more emotion than they expected and what points to the possibility she is actually alive now.


Regarding the "Golden Arc" (A.A.R.C.D. Advanced Atomic Relay Core Disruptor), it is a ray canon with a power capable of extreme destruction. Cassie, being the only one able to use it, has software that allows her to decode the algorythm that controls it and resets both, energy charge and code to use it, every 58 seconds. The canon is capable of piercing through a volcano even (best way to describe it). Moreso, it is the only weapon capable of destroying the T.A.N.K. Armored Gillian Units in only 3 shots, which I'll talk about in the future.
